Those risks must be effectively recognized and managed. As with many evolving e-banking products and services such as internet banking, online bill pay, and remote deposit, financial institutions need to focused on preventing undue risk exposure, staying current with new technology, ensuring consistency across all e-banking solutions, and simultaneously protecting your institution and your customers from fraudulent activities.

Systems Integration: provide students with an understanding of Systems Integration (SI) process, approaches, drivers, tools and techniques required for successful SI, critical success factors, and best practices. The objective of the course is to provide the students an understanding of the issues involved in systems integration. Systems integration process is illustrated over the life cycle concept of projects - during design, development, implementation, testing and production. Case studies and examples from the Information Technology (IT) industries will be used to illustrate the concepts discussed. The students will learn the theory and practice of business process integration, legacy integration, new systems integration, integration of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products, interface control and management, and testing.

System Implementation: The business challenge today is to manage activities more holistically rather than the traditional approach of having ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 and other management systems as peripheral arrangements.

In the past this has been problematical because of the structure of management system standards and the in-house barriers to such an approach. The revision to standards and their structure has enabled many of these obstacles to be overcome and allows organisations to create effective business wide integrated systems.
